Name: Mr Chris Taylor
Title: Senior Forensic Investigator

Biography: Mr Taylor is Espion’s lead forensic investigator. Prior to joining Espion, he was a key senior member of New Scotland Yard’s ‘Technology Exploitation Unit’ for 8 years. This unit has a national role in the UK and perform a wide variety of IT investigations. Prior to joining the Technology Exploitation Unit, Mr. Taylor was a key member of New Scotland Yard’s ‘Financial Investigations & Special Access Centre’ working as a financial analyst and intelligence officer. He also served as a Ports Intelligence Officer in Heathrow Airport for a number of years. Mr. Taylor’s 14 years of experience in the field of computer forensics is unrivalled in the Irish marketplace. He is trained and certified to the highest standards with particular expertise in Computer Data Forensic Examinations, Digital Media Analysis, Financial Investigations and Complex Fraud and Financial Data Analysis. He holds the highest civilian security clearance with The UK Government. Mr Taylor has recently completed a large scale multi-jurisdictional, 200+ custodian eDiscovery project for a high profile litigation suit involving a US Multinational. Mr. Taylor is also a part-time lecturer on UCD’s M.Sc. in Digital Investigations.



Name: Mr Colm Murphy
Title: Technical Director

Biography: Mr. Murphy holds a B.A. (Business and Politics) from Trinity College, and a Post Graduate Diploma from Staffordshire University (IT for Strategic Management). He has worked in the ICT industry since 1996 and has specialised in Information Security since 1998. He has worked as a lead consultant on a range of information security projects in the public and private sectors in Ireland, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines. He has performed over 200 computer forensic investigations in Ireland over the last 5 years, and has presented evidence for the Irish courts on numerous occasions. He is a Certified Encase Investigator and participates in various European Commission funded initiatives in the field of Computer Forensics and Electronic Evidence. He is a regular speaker at industry events, and contributes written articles to the Irish press. He is one of the most experienced forensic investigators in Ireland. Mr Murphy has recently completed a large scale multi-jurisdictional, 200+ custodian eDiscovery project for a high profile litigation suit involving a US Multinational.
